Yogaveta Class & Event Terms and Participation Waiver
Guide & Host: Olivia Reardon as Yogaveta
These terms apply to all yoga classes, workshops, retreats and events (indoor or outdoor) offered by Yogaveta, whether in-person or online.
Personal Responsibility
Yoga and related practises offered by Yogaveta may include physical movement, breathwork, meditation, and periods of stillness. Participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion.
You are responsible for listening to your body and choosing how and when to participate. You may rest, modify, or step away from any practise at any time. You are responsible for deciding whether participation is appropriate for you and for informing Yogaveta of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, or limitations that may affect your participation.
For outdoor sessions, please be aware that surfaces may be uneven, natural, or variable (including but not limited to grass, paving, stones, sand, decking etc.).
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Yogaveta accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property except where caused by negligence.
Health & Readiness
You confirm that you are physically and medically able to participate, or that you have disclosed any relevant injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, or limitations to Olivia Reardon prior to attending.
If you are unsure whether any class or event is suitable for you, it is your responsibility to seek medical advice before participating.
Adjustments
During in-person sessions, verbal guidance and physical adjustments are offered to support your experience. Consent for physical adjustments is always optional and may be declined or withdrawn at any time.
Online & On-Demand Sessions
For online or recorded sessions, you are responsible for ensuring a safe and appropriate practice environment, including adequate space, flooring, equipment, and internet access.
Photography & Recording
Photographs or short video recordings may occasionally be taken during classes or events for Yogaveta’s website, social media, or promotional materials.
If you prefer not to appear in any images or recordings, please inform Olivia Reardon before the session. Your preference will always be respected.
Bookings, Cancellations & Events
Cancellations or rescheduling for regular classes must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Refunds only if cancelled by participant with 48 hours notice or instructor absence.
Prepaid events are non refundable. Late cancellations within 48hours and no-shows are non-refundable. .
Yogaveta reserves the right to refuse future bookings or require advance payment for future bookings where repeated late cancellations or no-shows occur.
Workshops, events, and retreats may have separate booking, cancellation, and refund terms, which will be clearly stated at the time of booking and take precedence over the above.
Yogaveta reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or adjust classes or events where necessary. In such cases, bookings will be transferred, credited or refunded where appropriate.
Mobility & Flexibility Workshops
Certain workshops offered by Yogaveta, including but not limited to flexibility, mobility, and splits-focused masterclasses, may involve deeper stretching techniques, longer-held positions, active flexibility exercises, strength work, and a greater range of movement than may be experienced in a regular yoga class.
Participants are responsible for working within their own abilities and comfort levels at all times. Progress in flexibility and mobility varies between individuals and should not be forced. You should stop, modify, or rest whenever necessary and inform Olivia Reardon of any concerns, injuries, discomfort, or relevant medical conditions before or during the workshop.
Participation in these workshops is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion. Yogaveta does not guarantee any particular outcome, level of flexibility, or physical result from attendance.
If you have any injury, hypermobility condition, joint instability, recent surgery, pregnancy, or other medical concern that may affect your ability to participate safely, you should seek appropriate medical advice before attending.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Olivia Reardon as Yogaveta shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from participation in classes, workshops, retreats, events, online sessions, or recordings, except where such liability arises from negligence or breach of statutory duty.
These terms are designed to be fair and transparent, and do not affect any legal rights that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Acceptance
By booking or attending a class or event with Yogaveta, even if you choose not to complete the health questionnaire, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
